Curating Joy and Creativity
Creativity has been the rhythm of my life for as long as I can remember. From my early days experimenting with fashion design and screen printing to diving deep into textile design and public art at RMIT, I’ve always followed the call to create.
My journey has taken me through countless workshops and retreats, exploring everything from silversmithing to somatic dance—each new experience adding another layer to my creative process.
But for me, creativity isn’t just about making—it’s about connection and transformation. My work is focused on curating spaces where creativity can bloom, where people feel safe to express themselves and explore new possibilities. It’s about creating moments of joy, of discovery, of transformation.
Public Art
My Springs in Bloom public art piece came second in the Melbourne Living City Lab. It was a joyful and vibrant homage to endangered Victorian native fauna and flora. I wanted to create something that felt more than alive, sparking joy and conversation about a serious topic, while also being very Instagrammable.
My passion for human-centred spaces is interwoven with the transformative potential of art, culminating in creations that go beyond visual appeal. I aim to create experiences that promote safety, inclusivity, and creativity, while also connecting people to their environment in unexpected and delightful ways—encouraging us to stop, pause, reflect, and connect.
Surface Pattern Design
My patterns are centred on creativity, joy, and inclusivity, with inspiration from the wonder of nature and my abstract paintings. As a neurodivergent creative, I understand the power of colour and pattern for stimulating dopamine production and for creating calm, soothing spaces that nurture us. I aim to use my work as a catalyst for positive change, adding beauty, joy, and inclusivity to the world. My repeat patterns are suitable for wallpaper, home furnishings, or clothing. Artist Villages
Set against Wellington’s waterfront, the pop-up villages I curated were more than just temporary shops—they were vibrant hubs where creativity flourished. Emerging artists and designers transformed empty spaces into dynamic studios, inviting the public to experience the creative process firsthand. Each village buzzed with energy, from interactive art sessions to lively salsa workshops, all accompanied by the sounds of buskers and the aromas of street food.
The Winter Artist Village was a standout, where night markets and marshmallow roasting added a touch of magic. These villages weren’t just events; they were immersive creative experiences that brought together art, community, and creativity in a way that left lasting impressions on everyone involved
Let's work together!
Whether I’m organising a pop-up craft session or producing immersive creative events, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where creativity feels alive, accessible, and joyful. These experiences are about more than just crafting—they’re about making people feel seen, heard, and empowered through the act of creating.
